Tim,

Thanks for the ideas and comments. Both are good points. As for the link, that's a Twitter feed pulled direct through Twitter's widget. We don't control whether it's a link or not.

As for content on FuelFrog.com, we agree completely, we look forward to taking your thoughts and coming up with the best way to design new content for the home page.

Thx,
David

Sorry, but I'm going to be harsh now. There's a link on the fuelfrog site to the Fox page that has a link to your site.

But it isn't hyperlinked!! I had to copy and paste it to get to the page. ARGHH!! Inexcusable!

It baffles me how one can even think of not hyperlinking a link.

Cool site (fuelfrog), but you could be doing so much more with it. I signed up, but you lost me after I tried to go to the home page and it went nowhere. It stayed right on my account page.

When I did finally (frustratingly) edited the URL window to get to the home page, I found no content other than telling me to get twitter.

I hate twitter. Besides, that seems like a lot of work to go thru when you could just offer some content on the home page.

I was hoping for some browsable links on your home page to other pages on your site like some summary statistics.

You could put average mpg by state or country, or by vehicle. You could put comments like this blog post on your site.

Gas is such a hot topic right now, you could really make something with your site by adding content!! Right now you basically have no content.

I know the site is new, but you have a great opportunity with that Fox link to capture users/viewers. I'm sure you're losing a lot of potential re-visitors because your site has no content to keep people interested. You need more than just the mpg logging feature that requires registration.

A lot of people won't go thru the trouble to register even if they have an interest. I came real close to not registering. If you have content on your site (there is ***so*** much potential for interesting content on your site), you give a person a reason to come back. Right now you give no reason to those who choose to not register.

-Just want to see you succeed with a great idea for a site.
