I like the idea of adding more widgets to the page. I’m a big fan of the twitter widget myself. It makes it way easier to keep the content on your site more current without having to actually sit down and write out intelligible pros.
It looks like there are some rouge div or ul tags somewhere on this page though. For me, FF 2.0.0.7 Win, The Amazon widget is in the center column and the delicious links span from the left column into the center. The content also is getting pushed way down by all of that craziness.
Weird, I just examined the site on FF Windows (2.0.0.7) and IE 7 windows and despite the odd alignment of the grey line that goes down the right-side of the page (hasn’t caught up with me widening the column), I don’t see the alignment problems you’re describing.
